Gareth Toner

Gareth is a teacher and bodyworker passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies, develop greater self-awareness and build a healthier relationship with themselves and the world around them.

His approach is grounded in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST), a gentle, trauma-informed form of bodywork informed by embryology, neuroscience and modern pain research. Through deep listening, presence and therapeutic touch, Gareth supports clients in calming overwhelmed nervous systems, releasing patterns of tension and reconnecting with their innate capacity for wellbeing.

Before moving into body-based therapies, Gareth worked as a Physical Education teacher. His own experience of chronic pain led him on a personal journey of discovery through movement, yoga and nervous system-based practices, eventually inspiring him to dedicate his work to helping others understand and transform their relationship with pain, stress and the body.

Gareth is a registered Craniosacral Therapist with the Craniosacral Therapy Association (UK), a registered TRE® (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) Provider and Mentor, and trained in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a nervous system regulation approach based on Polyvagal Theory.

Alongside his clinical practice, Gareth teaches body-based approaches internationally through Body Intelligence Trainings and facilitates workshops in TRE, embodied listening and nervous system regulation.

His work is centred around creating a safe, compassionate space where people can slow down, reconnect and develop the skills to support their own health and resilience.

Outside the clinic, Gareth enjoys sea swimming, time in nature, exploring in his campervan and connecting with his local community.
