Life Coaching in Belfast

Gain clarity, build confidence and move forward with practical, personalised support.

Life can feel overwhelming, particularly when you are managing competing demands, facing an important decision or trying to make a change on your own. You may know that something needs to change without being sure where to begin.

Life coaching provides a confidential space to step back, understand what matters and develop a realistic way forward. Our experienced life coaches help clients create meaningful change in their personal and professional lives.

Appointments are available face-to-face at Belfast Wellness Clinic on the Ormeau Road or online.

How can a life coach help?

Life coaching is a collaborative process centred on you: your circumstances, strengths, values and goals. Your coach will listen, ask thoughtful questions and help you recognise choices or patterns that may be difficult to see on your own.

A life coach does not tell you how to live. Instead, coaching helps you find your own answers, challenge what may be holding you back and turn insight into practical action.

Our Belfast life coaches support clients with:

  • Clarity and direction: Identify what you want and decide what to do next when you feel stuck or uncertain.
  • Confidence and mindset: Explore self-doubt, limiting beliefs and unhelpful patterns that may be affecting your choices.
  • Stress and resilience: Develop healthier ways to manage pressure and protect your energy and wellbeing.
  • Work-life balance: Reconsider your priorities, boundaries and how you divide your time and attention.
  • Career change and development: Explore your strengths and values when considering a new role, promotion, business or direction.
  • Relationships and communication: Increase self-awareness, prepare for difficult conversations and communicate more effectively.
  • Purpose and fulfilment: Consider what gives your life meaning and whether your choices reflect what genuinely matters to you.
  • Accountability: Turn intentions into action with encouragement, structure and appropriate challenge.

You do not need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. Exploring what you would like to be different can form part of the life coaching process.

What happens during life coaching?

Your initial coaching session lasts approximately 90 minutes. Your coach will explore what brings you to coaching, what you hope to achieve and the areas in which change would matter most.

Together, you will agree an initial focus and consider what a helpful coaching relationship might look like. Subsequent sessions last approximately 60 minutes and are usually held weekly or fortnightly.

For clients who want to create sustained change, we generally recommend beginning with six sessions. This provides time to develop insight, try new approaches and review your progress. The format can be adapted to your circumstances and goals.

Sessions are confidential and provide a welcoming space in which you can think honestly, explore possibilities and decide what action feels right for you.

If you are unsure whether life coaching is appropriate, we can arrange a complimentary discovery call with one of our coaches.

Life coaching and your wider wellbeing

Our thoughts, emotions, relationships, work and physical wellbeing can all affect one another. As part of Belfast Wellness Clinic’s integrated approach, life coaching provides an opportunity to consider your life as a whole rather than focusing on one isolated issue.
